Atif is a serial entrepreneur who has co-founded a number of startups in different regions across the globe.
His previous startup, Perfigo, a network based security compliance product company based in San Francisco, was acquired by Cisco Systems. He is also co-founder of VentureDive, a boutique product development company in Karachi that is committed to driving lifestyle improvements through the innovative use of technology.
Atif is part of an angel investor community that supports young entrepreneurs and has made seed investments in a number of tech and non-tech ventures in the Middle East and Pakistan.
Atif holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College of Science and Technology and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
Bilal Lakhani is the founder and publisher of The Express Tribune, one of Pakistan’s leading English-language daily newspapers. He is also responsible for driving business growth across other media properties of the Lakson Group.
Bilal was educated at Yale and Brandeis Universities where he studied management and political science. In his spare time he loves to travel, most recently visiting Cambodia, reading fiction, playing squash and the board game, Catan.
Farzal Dojki is Founder of Next Generation Innovations, Co-Founder of VentureDive. Through these organizations, he has worked with over 50 Early stage companies in the role of Technology Consulting. Prior experience includes early engineering employee at Trakker Insurance, amaana and PixSense.
Farzal earned his MS from New York University (NYU) and Dual Bachelors in CS and Economics from UT Austin.
After earning Eisenhower Fellowship in 2012, he conceptualized DotZero – the largest and only private incubator – and launched it in 2013 with 3 other co founders.
As CEO NexDegree, Imran’s firm has helped both large enterprises & startups alike in coming up with data management strategies thereby driving better value to downstream customers. He specializes in the areas of data management & analysis, cloud & infrastructure planning, performance systems and has served clients in all major continents. Imran holds a degree in computer science from Stanford University.
While in the US, Imran worked as a research analyst and consultant for a biometrics consulting firm in New York City where his clients included both private and government institutions such as the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), White House Office of Science & Technology Policy and Honeywell.
In 2013, he also co-founded Karachi’s first technology incubator / co-working space, DotZero, to help aspiring entrepreneurs to launch, run and succeed in their businesses.
With the launch of DotZero Ventures, Imran hopes to passionately work to provide much needed operational support to promising, meaningful and impactful businesses and to catalyze the expansion of the entrepreneurial ecosystem throughout Pakistan.
Nadeem has an extensive background in operations, general management and business development. He is amongst the co-founders of The Resource Group (TRG), a Washington-DC based investment holding company specializing in the global business process outsourcing sector. Nadeem currently serves as the Manager Director & Country Manager for Pakistan for TRG.
Nadeem was one of the founding members of OPEN (Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs of North America), Washington, DC Chapter. He recently served as Chairman, P@SHA (Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT and ITes) and also serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the American Business Council, Pakistan. He is the current President of the Harvard Business School Club of Pakistan, Member of the Board of Directors of OPEN-Karachi Chapter and a member of the Corporate Leaders Advisory Board of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi. Nadeem is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization-Pakistan Chapter (YPO).
Nadeem has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A in Mathematics and Economics from Brown University, USA.

He is currently the Director of Latif Textile Mills
Yusuf Jan is Co-founder and President of TRAFiX. Prior experience includes co-founding and managing two Wall Street based startups over the last decade – Mixit and RealFS. Both ventures involved advanced trading technology and Order Routing/Connectivity services to the global financial industry.
Yusuf earned an MBA from Long Island University and a B.S. from St. John’s University, New York.
Prior to his entrepreneurial stints, Yusuf’s career included management positions with the City and State of New York and a brief stint at Chase Manhattan Bank. Yusuf worked at MTA New York City Transit and at New York City Office of the Comptroller’s Bureau of Audit.
Yusuf Jan has contributed in several initiatives including serving as Chairman of Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA). His other involvements include DotZero, OPEN (Karachi Chapter) and an active member of the Invest 2 Innovate (i2i) angel community
Zahid Shafi is the Executive Director of Shafi Foods and Chief Financial Officer of Shafi Tanneries, a very well respected Business group of Pakistan. As a seasoned CFO, he is an expert in Joint Venture structing, Finance and Banking relationships, Treasury, Investments, Accounting & Financial reporting.
Before moving to Karachi, he was Co-founder, Chairman and CFO of Cybersoft Technologies and World Online ISP, which were sold to Orascom, Egypt via their subsidiary LinkDotNet.
Zahid has served as Board member for multiple Financial institutions such as NIB Bank, NDLC, MOdarba companies. He has a Bachelors degree from Boston University.
